This is a painting ive had lying around the studio. Its a piece that for the longest time i felt like it was unfinished, but one day, for reasons unknown to me, I looked at it and just felt like it was perfect. So here it is.

The eyes...

They say a persons eyes are the window to their soul. Maybe they're right. Ive always had a weird fascination with eyes. Whenever i pick up a pencil i find myself thoughtlessly sketching out an eye or a face. Eyes are usually the first thing im attracted to on a person. Maybe, when you look into someones eyes, you can see inside their soul. Maybe not. Maybe we don't even have a soul. Maybe they're just easy to draw. Either way, Ive always been one to study a persons eyes. I think, if you wanted to get to know me, all you would have to do is look into my eyes...and tell me what you see in me.
