I got to spend a week at Brian Murphy's Third Dimension Tattoo Studio in Marshalls Creek, Pennsylvania. The guys there are really cool, and awesome artists. If your ever around the Marshalls Creek area of PA, go check these guys out.

Who am I?

Why am I here?

A dream.

...so Im leaving work. Its already gotten dark outside. Im getting into my truck and I text my girlfriend to let her know Im on my way to pick her up from her house, which isnt far at all from the studio. Im driving along, listening to music, I turn on a couple of streets. I turn on her street and as I pull up I call her cell to let her know that Im outside.
I see her door open, I see her walking towards my truck, I open the door from the inside so she can get in. We kiss, we ask each other "how was your day" and stuff. I pull the parking brake and just before Im about to take off, something strange catches my attention. I look over at my girl and its not her. I mean it kinda looks like her but there's just something really strange about her face. And as Im noticing this I also notice that she's not talking to me anymore. She's just looking at me....staring. And i dont know what to say. Actually, at this point, i just have no idea of what is going on. I begin to realize that, I dont even know who I am. Im just totally confused and lost and overwhelmed...
...then im awake. I look over and she's there. And Im there. And everything is ok.

Dahveed Algarin is an artist ive known for years. Recently i had a talk with him. We did a little painting. This is his story...
One time, long ago, a school bus full of little kids got stuck on some train tracks here in town. A train came and killed them all. Them same kids one day pushed my car off those same tracks as i too found myself stuck on them.

The mansion...

A long time ago, there was a mansion. It was owned by a man who lived in the mansion. This man was a midget. He lived in the mansion with his wife, who was also a midget, and their two young children, who were not midgets, they were normal sized children. One day the man came home and murdered his wife with a shotgun to the head while she was sleeping. The man then went to the childrens bedroom and also took their lives in the same manner. After this, he hung himself. And why this happened exactly, will never be known.

Call of Duty...

Whenever i look outside my window, and i just happen to see someone walking by in the distance, the first thing that i can think of is to blow there fucking head off with my M1 Carbine with flash hider attachment. Its almost an instinctive reaction.

This is a painting ive had lying around the studio. Its a piece that for the longest time i felt like it was unfinished, but one day, for reasons unknown to me, I looked at it and just felt like it was perfect. So here it is.

The eyes...

They say a persons eyes are the window to their soul. Maybe they're right. Ive always had a weird fascination with eyes. Whenever i pick up a pencil i find myself thoughtlessly sketching out an eye or a face. Eyes are usually the first thing im attracted to on a person. Maybe, when you look into someones eyes, you can see inside their soul. Maybe not. Maybe we don't even have a soul. Maybe they're just easy to draw. Either way, Ive always been one to study a persons eyes. I think, if you wanted to get to know me, all you would have to do is look into my eyes...and tell me what you see in me.
